Ha Long Bay Day Trip
🇻🇳 We took a day trip to Ha Long Bay!! As well as exploring the bay via boat we went kayaking and explored Sung Sot cave which means Surprised Cave or Amazing Cave. It is on Bo Hon Island and is one of the most spectacular and largest grottoes of Ha Long Bay. 🇻🇳

Good morning Vietnam!
Our first destination for our world trip is Hanoi, Vietnam. After leaving Jinny’s home town we had one night left in Korea before heading to Vietnam the next morning. We had a great first day exploring the cities sights and food!

Our New Life Chapter
So the day has finally come. After much planning and saving we are ready to start our next journey together. Jinny and I have been planning to travel the world for the last 3 years. We made the goal while we were still working in Tokyo.Â

Family Trip to Liverpool
While Jinny's family came over to visit us in the UK for the wedding, we had planned a few domestic trips. The highlight was definitely our visit to Liverpool and especially to Anfield Stadium.

Family London Tour! Day 2
Our second day in London was thankfully much sunnier than our first. We decided to spend most of our day outside and getting in some other key spots before we had our train to catch to Liverpool in the evening.

The Burnley Way – 40-mile (64 km) Walk
My sister is an avid walker. It is shocking just how many miles she has under her boots. I have also mentioned before too that their dog Guinness is probably the most walked dog I know too. Lucky mutt! My sister had planned out a 6 part walk which we aimed to do in 3 days. In total it is 40-mile (64 km) long. The route goes all around Burnley, across canals, fields, farm land and towns. The path is way-marked by a letter “B” and a bird symbol. It was created in 1993 and updated in May 2008. So we expected it to be pretty well marked and maintained. This…

Glasgow – Black pudding, Art & Whisky
For our last day of our first wedding anniversary trip in Scotland we headed to Glasgow. We had about 8 hours in the city and visited Glasgow Cathedral, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum as well a The Clydeside Whisky Distillery.

Loch Ness, Glencoe & The Highlands
On our third day in Scotland we booked for a one day bus tours from Edinburgh to Loch Ness and Glencoe; a full day taking in some of the most dramatic scenery of the Scottish Highlands. In total it was 12hrs 30 mins and allowed us to see some amazing places.

Edinburgh – Day 2 – Free Tours, Walking & Beer
Day 2 of our Scotland trip. We booked into more tours and met up with Mike, Luke's friend from university. Highlights were Greyfriars Bobby, Grassmarket, Edinburgh castle and Arthur's Seat.
