Uluwatu Temple – Bali Indonesia – Fire Dance & Monkeys
For our last day in Bali we decided to go to the popular Uluwatu Temple. It is renowned for its magnificent location, perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 meters above the waves. Also they have a Kecak Fire Dance, it is an elaborate performance based on the Hindu epic, Ramayana. It’s performed by about 50 people with a large portion of them being tasked with chanting the famous “chak, chak, chak” sound and performing basic routines while seated on the ground. Petitenget Beach – Bali Indonesia – Beach Day Trip / Greek Food Lunch
After enjoying some active days at the water park and also Ubud, we decided to have a chill day at the beach! This time we wanted to head a bit further out and so choose Petitenget Beach, around a 40min walk away from our hotel in Kata beach area. On the way we had a nice greek lunch at Warung Souvlaki Milos. Highly recommended! Then we finally arrived at the beach, having fun in the sun as well as sea. Bali Ubud – Luwak Coffee / Tegallalang Rice Terrace / Tirta Empul / Elephant Cave / Saraswati Temple
We got a drive and went to explore Ubud! The town of Ubud, in the uplands of Bali, Indonesia, is known as a center for traditional crafts and dance. The terraced rice paddies, dotted with Hindu temples and shrines, are among Bali’s most famous landscapes. We first visited a Luwak Coffee planation, to see how the coffee and Tea is made. The coffee being made from the Luwak’s poo, and seasoned with other herbs and fruits.
